Comment on Does Vitamin B-12 MethylCobalamin Work For Brain Fatigue? by Deacon Patrick

Dear Del,

Excellent question. I continue to take B-12 Methyl daily and as needed for recovery when my brain is overloaded. In the past year I have experienced significant healing: I have much more brain cushion against overstimulation, I can run without even carrying sticks, and these have greatly improved my quality of life and how much time I can spend with my family. However, in that same time I have shifted to a high-quality, high fat diet (The Perfect Health Diet), and made numerous other shifts, so the B-12 Methyl has been part of that, but I have no idea how much. My body now has what it need to heal more by God's abundant grace.

my tbi was 7 years ago.....i get both hot and cold flashes with sweating....often my feet are ice cold and my torso hot.

i believe stress is one of my triggers....or better way to say it is the higher my stress the more vulnerable i am to over-stimulation triggers.

Dear romanrunner,
I still use them and love them. They flex just fine and make winter running a grand delight. See http://www.mindyourheadcoop.org/blog/?p=1592 for them used with microspikes. May God startle you with joy!

Hey Deacon Patrick,

Neat blog you have here, and cool philosophy on running as well. I know this post is old, but I'm really interested in these boiled wool socks you used with your huaraches back in 2010. They seem to fit your feet well, but how flexible are they when you run (will they reduce your ability to use proper barefoot form)? I need something to keep my feet warm this winter after using huaraches all year round and hope not to go back to other minimalist footwear.

Thanks for your time and keep up the great blog!

Excellent question! Emailing me at lamontglen@mac.com is private. The other two are email support groups, which are viewable to members only, but all members receive all messages sent to the group.

i'm a minimumist (radical minimalist) and have been experimenting with MUGs for a while now.
i like kilts but have just ordered my first macabi skirt. i look forward to checking this option out.
if it doesn't work, then i'll try the oldest of garments, the tunic.
keep me posted on your progress.
